Since longer than most can remember Peppersford – (It is suspected that the Knighthood might not stand serious scrutiny!) – has been the Barons personal aid, butler, chauffeur, secretary and general factotum. Residing alone with the Baron at Beaconsfield Manor you will never see Peppersford and the Baron dining together. It could appear that they can neither live with each other – nor without!
